At South Gate Pest and Rodent Exterminators, we are proud of protecting local residents from South Gate bed bugs. Sadly, it appears South Gate bed bugs are on an upswing. We’re not precisely sure why the number of beg bugs in South Gate are increasing, but it’s likely caused by more people buying used furniture from Craigslist and inadvertently bringing these bed bugs home.
We simply cannot think of anybody who doesn’t mind bed bugs within their living space. South Gate bed bugs will make their presence known in a way that makes it impossible to ignore them. While you’re sleeping, bed bugs come out to feed on you. They do this by piercing the skin with a stylet (basically, a long part of its mouth). They use their stylet, which has small teeth, to saw through your tissue in order to find blood vessels. They will then suck blood for about five minutes before going back into hiding.
The South Gate bed bug will concurrently inject saliva into the body of the human it is feeding on. This saliva can create swelling and cause intense itchiness. It’s often difficult to detect South Gate bed bugs. Not only are bed bugs nocturnal, but they’re also small and very adept at hiding in small areas. In most cases we’ve dealt with in South Gate, people don’t realize they have bed bugs until they get attacked in their sleep.
